The 32nd IEEE International Symposium on Computer-Based Medical Systems (IEEE CBMS2019) was held at the Maimónides de Investigación Biomédica de Córdoba and at the Hospital Universitario Reina Sofia in Cordoba, Spain, from the 5th to the 7th of June.
CBMS is a worldwide known symposium that promotes the exchange of ideas and technologies between academic and industrial scientists for medical systems. More than 170 researchers, from all around the world, participated presenting more than 150 high-quality project papers with a wide variety of topics related to real-case industry applications for healthcare. The presentations covered a wide range of medical research topics shown to the scientific community, such as e-Health, Computer Vision, Software Systems in Medicine, Surgery Simulators, Radiomics and Radiogenomics, Data Analysis and Knowledge Discovery, Knowledge Representation, Decision Support and Recommendation Systems, Big Data Analytics in Healthcare, Cognitive Computing in Healthcare, Network and Telemedicine Systems, Privacy and Cyber Security in Health Care, GDPR, and many more.
